Lynette Owen, Rights Director of Pearson Education Ltd, a major multinational publisher of educational, academic and professional titles, wrote the model contracts and users’ guides. As well as being head of the department responsible for copyright licence sales and contracts, Lynette Owen is the author of Selling Rights (Third edition, Routledge, 1997) and a co-editor of Publishing Agreements (Fifth edition, Butterworths, 1997). New editions of both books are currently in preparation.
