How technologies affect inequalities in the user’s perspective

Frontier technologies could impact inequality through the products (goods and services) that use or are produced and distributed using these technologies. This Report adopts elements from the Capability Approach1 to identify the channels through which products that apply frontier technologies affect inequalities. There is a sizeable literature that applies the Capability Approach to technology, particularly in the area of ICT, although there are still many areas of debate.
