Energy, natural resources and cartography

Among the several UN bodies dedicated to the conservation, development and use of energy and natural resources, the International Atomic Energy Agency (iaea), in addition to its work on the nonproliferation of nuclear weapons, in 2011 continued to address global challenges related to nuclear technology, including energy security, human health and food security, water resources management, as well as nuclear safety and security.
