The main goal of urban development in Podgorica is to improve the quality of life for all residents. This can be achieved by taking measures to develop infrastructure, make business communities competitive, create a business ambience, make tourism attractive and protect the environment. By mid-2023, around 69 of the total 118 projects foreseen in the Strategic Development Plan of Podgorica for the period 2020-2025 are in various stages of implementation, according to the Report on the Strategic Development Plan.
