How can a market access strategy be developed by using the WTO Agreement on SPS?

In general, successful trading depends on exporters meeting the specifications of importers, including official SPS requirements, in a reliable way. The national enquiry points that are part of the transparency mechanisms under the SPS Agreement provide a channel through which exporters can obtain information about the importing country’s food standards and the measures it imposes to protect animal and plant health, such as quarantine provisions, vaccination and fumigation procedures, and so forth.
