لقد ظلّ الذّئب لغترة طويلة ذلك الشرير بامتياز في الحكايات التقليدية وفي الاستعارات التي ترمز إلى الوحشية والغدر. لكن مع اختفائه تدريجيّا من الغابات، تغيّر وضعه وتطوّرت تمثّلاته إلى درجة أصبح يظهر معها الآن حليفا، أحيانا، للأطفال في الكتب المُوجّهة لهم.

ييشو وانغ، له القدرة على التّسامي عن المألوف والعادي: بحر من القبعات الملوّنة، وجسر خاوٍ معلّق فوق مشهد جبلي، وحشد من الكوادر يرتدون بدلات داكنة، تلك بعض من صور ييشو وانغ، تكشف الأشيا والمشاهد اليومية عن عالم على حدة، غالبا ما تتوارى فيه الشخصيات فلا يُظهر لنا المصوّر سوى قَفاها ووجوهها الُمقنّعة، أو يلتقطها في انعكاس المرآة. صوره الشمسية تُوهم بأنه يُدين بالكثير للصّدفة حيث ينتقل بسلاسة من جوّ إلى آخر، ومن رجل يمشي في الشارع رفقة إوزّة إلى نافذة مفتوحة عل سماء من الثّلج.

ماريشا رازي- كوسكينين Marisha Rasi–Koskinen كاتبة حائزة على عديد الجوائز، وهي أيضا أخصّائية في علم النفس التّربوي، وكانت انتمت سابقا إلى موجة البونك Punk، وهي تحتلّ مكانة فريدة في الساحة الأدبية الفنلندية. فكتبها الطّلموحة والمتحرّرة من التابوهات تصل إلى المراهقين لكونها تتناول المشاكل التي تهمّهم.

It’s the art of elevating the ordinary: a sea of colourful hats, an empty bridge in a mountain landscape, a crowd of executives in dark suits. In the images of Yishu Wang, everyday objects and settings hint at a separate world. Figures are often photographed from the back, their faces obscured or perhaps shown in a mirror. Images are seemingly random and evoke different moods, from a man holding a goose on a city street to a flurry of snowflakes viewed through a window at night.

Conditions for scientific research in Ukraine have greatly deteriorated since the Russian invasion began in February 2022. As a result of the bombing of Ukrainian cities, more than one-third of scientific institutions have been damaged or destroyed and several Ukrainian scientists have been killed. Many researchers and university teachers have been internally displaced, with one in three now having to work remotely. The budget allocated to scientific work has shrunk, leading to cuts in staff salaries, part-time work and suspension of employment. Productivity in science has suffered as a consequence.

الممثّل والمخرج المسرحي البرتغالي تياغو رودريغز هو أيضًا مؤلّف مسرحيّات حظيت بقبول كبير، وفيها يحتفي بقوّة الكلمات ويسائل مفهوم الذّاكرة طامسا بذلك الحدود بين السّرديّة الحميميّة والتّاريخ الجماعي، وبين والخيال والواقع. عُيّن سنة 2023 مديرًا لمهرجان أفيتيون (فرنسا)، وهو أكبر حدث مسرحي ولفنون الفرجة في العالم.

منذ بدء الغزو الروسي في فبراير 2022، شهدت ظروف البحث العلمي في أوكرانيا تدهورا كبيرا حيث ألحق القصف الذي طال المدن الأوكرانية ضررا ودمارا بأكثر من ثلث مباني المؤسسات العلمية، وتسبّب في مقتل عدد كبير من العلماء الأوكرانيين، وأجبر العديد من الباحثين وأساتذة الجامعات على الانتقال الى داخل البلاد، ودفع بثلثهم الى العمل عن بعد. كما شهدت الميزانية المرصودة للأنشطة العلمية تقلّصا كبيرا ممّا أدّى إلى تخفيض الرّواتب، والعمل بدوام جزئي، وحذف مواطن شغل. وهو ما خلّف أثره على الإنتاجية العلمية.

لقد وجب انتظار النّصف الثاني هن القرن الثّامن عشر لنشهد ظهور أدب موجّه خصيصا للأطفال. واليوم، في حين تزدهر صناعة كتب الأطفال والشباب ويتنافس المؤلفون والرسّامون في الإبداع لمساعدة القراء الصغار على النموّ، لا يزال يتعيّن على أدب الطّفل أن يناضل من أجل الاعتراف به بصفته تلك أي باعتباره جنسا أدبيّا بذاته.

In 1998, Nadia Essalmi founded Yomad, Morocco’s first publishing house dedicated to children’s literature, with the aim of offering young readers books that reflect their reality. Its catalogue now includes around a hundred titles, but producing and distributing original books remains a constant challenge.

Followed by thousands of young readers, literary influencers have become key players in teen publishing, sharing their favourite reads on social media.
