Included in the production of primary energy for Solids are hard coal, lignite, peat, oil shale, primary solid biofuels and wastes; Liquids are comprised of crude oil, natural gas liquids, other hydrocarbons, additives and oxygenates, and liquid biofuels; Gas comprises natural gas and biogas; Electricity is comprised of primary electricity generation from hydro, wind, tide, wave and solar sources; and Heat comprises primary heat from nuclear, geothermal, chemical and solar sources.
