This module will introduce you to the skills and tools you will use to plan and carry out training programmes for clients. The planning stage follows many of the guidelines laid out in module 2 for preparing a consulting plan. In order to plan a programme in detail, it is necessary to first define the objectives clearly. The first step in programme design is therefore to gather information from the client so as to gain a clear picture of the goals of training. Only then can you begin to think of ways to reach them, and choose the methods and tools that will help you do so.
