Foreword

Volumes I-XIV of the Reports contain awards handed down since 14 October 1902, the date of the first decision given by the Permanent Court of Arbitration. The present volume is devoted to the awards handed down before that date and for which texts are available. It contains, in addition, the award made in connexion with the Alaskan Boundary Case on 20 October 1903, this award not having been published in the appropriate volume of the Reports. Like the previous volumes, it omits the awards which already appear in the relevant collections of La Fontaine, Lapradelle-Politis and Moore.
