We do not live alone. We exist in a stream of life from the past to the future. The human race was born and has evolved on Earth, and Earth, in turn, has evolved from the universe (Nakano, 1994: 107). Therefore, we have to regard ourselves as historical entities and remember that we are responsible for the future. It is always important to study the past when we learn new things.
