Maritime zones subject to boundary delimitation

The maritime zones which would be in most cases subject to boundary delimitation are the territorial sea, the contiguous zone, the exclusive economic zone and the continental shelf. In some rare cases, States may need to delimit other maritime zones, such as the internal waters.
