The Burkina Faso national accounts are prepared by the Service of economic accounts and macroeconomic analysis (SCEAM) of the National Institute of Statistics and Demography (INSD). The elaboration of the national accounts in Burkina Faso takes into consideration the recommendations relating to publication of the Observatoire économique et statistique d’afrique subsaharienne (AFRISTAT) and also include volume and price index tables as an aid to better understanding of trends in values, often caused by real growth and price variation.
