Air quality management

Before the war overall air quality was poor: large energy and metallurgy plants, built for the needs of the former Yugoslavia, generated much pollution. The overall recession and the decline in activity in particular in the industrial sector, as a result of the war, have significantly relieved pressure on air quality. All inhabitants note that the air is much cleaner now than before the war.
