Avant-propos
Le Rapport sur le développement durable en Afrique pour l’année 2022 offre une analyse exhaustive des progrès réalisés par l’Afrique en terme de mise en oeuvre des Objectifs de développement durable (ODD) et de l’Agenda 2063 de l’Union africaine. Le rapport s’inscrit dans la thématique du Forum politique de haut niveau sur le développement durable 2022 : « Reconstruire en mieux après la pandémie de maladie à coronavirus (COVID-19), tout en avançant sur la voie d’une mise en oeuvre intégrale du Programme de développement durable à l’horizon 2030 ». Il présente une analyse approfondie des cinq ODD suivants : objectif 4 (éducation de qualité), objectif 5 (égalité des sexes), objectif 14 (vie aquatique), objectif 15 (vie terrestre) et objectif 17 (partenariats pour la réalisation des objectifs).

Production is defined as the capture, extraction or manufacture of fuels or energy in forms which are ready for general use. In energy statistics, two types of production are distinguished, primary and secondary.

Transport is a sector that is rapidly growing in Asia and the Pacific compared to the rest of the world in terms of scale and speed. However, transport trends within the region are often changing because of the diverse opportunities and constraints.
