This publication is addressed to the policy makers and their development partners and other stakeholders to generate constructive dialogues and exchange of information in shaping the future course of action in support of the development aspirations of the Asia-Pacific Least Developed Countries (LDCs). It arose out of the regional review of the Brussels Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries, conducted by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and the Government of Bangladesh in collaboration with the Office of the High Representative for Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (OHRLLS) from 18 to 20 January 2010 in Dhaka as the contribution of the Asia-Pacific region to the United Nations Fourth Conference on LDCs from 9 to 13 May 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey. It brings together the papers presented at the regional review, which formed the basis of the discussions and deliberations during the meeting and the Dhaka Outcome Document adopted by the Ministers from fifteen Asia-Pacific LDCs attending the meeting.
