Small businesses are finding that the Internet is a relatively low-cost tool for marketing their products and services both locally and globally. A successful commercial website is one that gives value to the business as well as to its customers. Therefore, any site expenditure that does not return value to the business is over-expenditure. To obtain value from your website you must carefully define what functions you expect the site to perform, ensure that those functions are carried out efficiently, and make your site highly visible to your target markets.
