Stakeholders

This chapter explores the efforts by some key stakeholders in India working to support women and girls in science. The discussion here focuses primarily on institutional stakeholders, although we recognize the critical importance of the role of family and the larger social networks that individuals live in. Unfortunately, a discussion of such sociological themes is beyond the scope of this book.
