Are education gaps closing for disadvantaged groups?

Across developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region, opportunities have sprouted for more people to go to school, but some population groups have benefited more than others. SDG 4 highlights the need to “ensure equity and inclusion in and through education and address all forms of exclusion and marginalization, disparity, vulnerability and inequality in education access, participation, retention and completion in learning outcomes”.
