Armenia’s SQAM system comprises the National Institute of Standards (SARM), which is registered as a Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) under the Ministry of Economy with 100 percent State ownership; the National Accreditation Body (ARMNAB), which is a State Non-Commercial Organization under the Ministry of Economy; the National Institute of Metrology CJSC; and, the Market Surveillance Inspection Body, which is registered as a State inspectorate.
