Progress toward the achievement of the transformative result(s) should be assessed annually. Ideally, the same stakeholder group involved in the planning and development of the investment case should be involved with monitoring its progress. Monitoring can rely on many diff erent data sources, including nationally representative household surveys (e.g., DHS) and local-level surveys as well as quality surveys, service and administrative statistics. Stakeholders should review the data collected on an annual basis, and review - and revise as necessary - targets for achieving the transformative result(s).
