Youth Well-being and Development Index in the Kyrgyz Republic

At the request of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, UNDP together with other UN agencies and partners supported a systemic measurement of the complex state of youth. YWBDI is an analytical complex indicator of the dynamics of changes in the situation of young people in the Kyrgyz Republic, considered through: development - as a process of irreversible quantitative and qualitative changes according to established criteria; well-being - as a social, physiological, psychological and material condition of young people. Purpose of YWBDI- determination of the main directions for the development of youth policy and improving the quality of decisions made at the national and local levels regarding the youth of the Kyrgyz Republic.
