These are the official records submitted to the General Assembly as reports of the Human Rights Council.

The Social Development Reports provide deep analysis of the status of marginalized and excluded population groups facing severe vulnerabilities in the Arab region. The reports examine the region’s ability to meet its 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development promise of leaving no one behind. The reports present policy recommendations to empower marginalized groups and ensure more inclusion and equity towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

Voluntary Peer Reviews on Competition Law and Policy are undertaken by competition policy experts and serve as a basis for peer review examination during the annual session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts (IGE). The peer review process provides a unique opportunity to examine and draw lessons from experiences of, and challenges faced by, countries in the implementation of competition policies. The reports produced during the process regarding the state of competition law and enforcement in reviewed countries are impartial and rigorous, and are undertaken by competition policy experts from both developed and developing countries who have practical experience in implementing competition law. The peer review process is interactive and combines the exchange of experiences with recommendations for possible improvements either in the formulation of the competition law or in its enforcement. Further, it provides interested developing countries with technical assistance in case they are willing to implement the peer review recommendations.

Following a request by the International Law Commission, the General Assembly, in resolution 987 (X) of 3 December 1955, requested the Secretary-General to arrange for publishing an annual publication entitled Yearbook of the International Law Commission, containing the principal documents and summary records relating to each ILC session. It has since been published annually in two volumes in respect of each session. The titles in this Series appear by Publication Date and not by the year indicated in the Title.

Statistical Papers (Series M) is the title of a book series produced by the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), which is part of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA). This series includes various titles that deal with statistics gathering and methodology, among them: National Account Statistics, Directory of International Statistics, Guidelines on Principles of a System of Price and Quantity Statistics and more.

Transboundary water resources play a significant role in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA). A great number of major water basins that were previously national within the former Soviet Union are now transboundary. Managing these waters in a sustainable way requires effective transboundary cooperation. Significant experience was gained in the region in recent years in different river basins. However, contacts between the experts involved are limited, and their experience and knowledge are not efficiently shared and used.

Training and Educational materials consist of guides, manuals and handbooks for indigenous peoples, minorities, professional groups (e.g. police, prison officials, judges, parliamentarians, human rights monitors, election monitors and social workers) and educational institutions.

This is a compendium of principal series and indicators which describe important social and related economic conditions and changes. It brings together available statistics and indicators for 178 countries and areas in 35 tables on subjects including population, human settlements, households, education and literacy, health, economic participation, national household income, participation of men and women in public affairs and crime and criminal justice.

El Comité de Derechos Humanos inició su labor en virtud del Protocolo Facultativo en su segundo período de sesiones, en 1977. Desde entonces y hasta su 84.º período de sesiones, en 2005, se le presentaron para su examen 1414 comunicaciones relativas a presuntas violaciones cometidas por 78 Estados Partes. Cada volumen de esta serie presenta casos correspondientes a un período específico de la labor del Comité.
