Acknowledgements

The Economic Report on Africa 2010, a joint publication of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the African Union Commission (AUC), was prepared under the leadership of Abdoulie Janneh, Executive Secretary of UNECA, and Jean Ping, the Chairperson, AUC. The Report team benefited from the guidance and supervision of Emmanuel Nnadozie, Director, the Economic Development and NEPAD Division (EDND) of UNECA and Maxwell Mkwezalamba, Commissioner for Economic Affairs of AUC.
