Bolivia (Plurinational State of)

Bolivia's national accounts were first calculated in the 1950s by the Ministry of Planning and Coordination. These calculations later became the responsibility of the Central Bank of Bolivia and, in 1988, the National Institute of Statistics took responsibility for preparing the national accounts, incorporating a number of methodological considerations from revision 4, which would subsequently become the System of National Accounts 1993 (1993 SNA), using 1990 as the base year, yet without implementing the 1993 SNA.
