It increases lifetime earnings, as well as how much a person can engage with and contribute to society. Bettereducated individuals tend to be healthier and to live longer. A workforce with the right skills is critical to the success of an economy. Investing in education brings individuals and societies enormous benefits socially, environmentally and economically. To realize these benefits, children and adolescents must have access to education, starting with preprimary education.
