Tins is the fortieth issue of the United Nations Statistical Yearbook, prepared by the Statistical Division, Department for Economic and Social Information and Policy Analysts of the United Nations Secretariat, since 1948 The present Issue contains series covering,in general, 1983-1992 or 1984-1993, using statistics available to the Statistical Division up to 31 December 1994.
