The opening up of Latin America to the exterior

In an article which appeared in issue No. 9 (December 1979) of the CEPAL Re vie tv, the author analysed the internationalization of the world economy and its significance and consequences for the periphery. As a follow-up to that article, and within the same general framework, he now raises the controversial question of Latin America’s opening up to the exterior.
