Other business services

In 2012, "other business services" (EBOPS 2002 code 268) was the largest exported service category, accounting for 24.2 percent of total world services exports (see table 1). The value (in current US$) of exports of this service category increased by 1.9 percent (compared to 5.2 percent average growth rate from 2008-2012) to reach 1076.2 bln US$ (see table 2), while imports increased by 0.6 percent to reach 961.1 bln US$ (see table 3). USA, Germany and United Kingdom were the top exporters in 2012 (see table 2). They accounted for 12.5, 8.5 and 8.3 percent of world exports, respectively. USA, Germany and France were the top importers, with respectively 9.1, 8.4 and 5.6 percent of world imports (see table 3).
