Editorial

I am pleased to present the second issue of the Asia Pacific Sustainable Development Journal (APSDJ, vol. 30, No. 2) for 2023. Produced in collaboration with the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Institute, this issue contains a thematic section of five papers based on the theme “Regional sustainable development cooperation in Central Asian countries”, guest edited by Ghulam Samad, Senior Research Specialist (Research Division), and coordinated by Emma Tong of the CAREC Institute. Originating from the research programme of the CAREC Institute, these papers went through the Journal’s independent reviewing process for academic rigour before being included in this issue.
