Abstract

In 2021, Fuzhou, China successfully hosted the extended 44th session of the World Heritage Committee. This milestone event not only raised the profile of the nation’s World Heritage monuments, buildings and landscapes, it also highlighted the real benefits they provide for China and its communities.
